- Perform Processing, Testing and Cryopreservation of Cord Blood Units (CBUs), Bone Marrow (BM) and Peripheral Blood Stem Cells (PBSC).
- Ensure proper labelling, testing, processing and disposition of all cord blood, cord stem cell, BM and PBSC samples received.
- Perform entry of laboratory and test data pertaining to the CBUs, CSCs, BM and PBSC.
- Document and compile laboratory test results and ensure compliance with company’s laboratory SOP.
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the laboratory instruments.
- Perform stem cell markers testing using flow cytometry.
- Perform any other testing required by regulatory bodies.
- Perform all levels of quality control activities when necessary.
- Perform vendor evaluation when required and ensure that laboratory supplies are delivered on a timely manner.
- Assist with the release of CBUs and other HSC units for transplantation.
- Fulfill other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements:
1. A team player working with teammates under the supervision of Laboratory Manager.
2. Must be willing to work on shift and during rostered weekends and public holidays.
3. Degree in biological science is a must.
