Claims Executive

Job Responsibilities

The Claims Executive will be expected to manage his / her portfolio of clients. Work with various insurers, loss adjusters etc. and front clients on the claims submitted for General Insurance or Health Insurance related products.

  • The Claims Executive will manage a portfolio of clients, and adopt a pro-active approach to advice clients on claims matter and provide technical support to servicing brokers.
  • The Executive will front clients’ claim adjudication i.e. from registration till the end of claims life cycle.
  • Ensure that claims are registered with insurer within 24 hours.
  • Ensure close follow up on claims submission to insurer and claims settlement (cheque will need to be sent out to clients within 48h).
  • Work closely with insurers, loss adjusters, lawyers, etc. on claims and negotiate for claims to be reimbursed fairly and timely to clients. Upon receiving of the settlement, we will then explain to clients on the basis of the settlement.
  • Prepare and provide weekly / monthly claims activity / review / analysis reports, bordereaux, and claims logs, etc.
  • Prepare, review and analyze claims profiling with clients regularly.
  • Ensure proper documentation trail submitted by clients and documents are electronically fille and hardcopy filing are maintained as per protocol.


Requirements

  • Possess Certificate in General Insurance and/or Health Insurance, CII/SII, ANZIFF or equivalent
  • Min 3 years of similar experience
  • Experienced claims handler who is able to handle high volume of work
  • High integrity, responsive, organized eager to learn.
  • Strong in verbal and written communication.
