Our Client:
Our client is a trading company specializing in the development of IT solutions for global businesses. The company provides regional IT infrastructure services, including network design, implementation, systems integration, support, and software solutions. With operations spanning across the globe, they have established locations not only in Japan but also in Singapore, Thailand, China, the US, and other regions. Currently, they are actively looking for an Accounts Executive to join their dynamic team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
- Responsible for preparing a full set of accounts for closing of monthly and annual financial statements
- Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (GL, account reconciliation, etc.)
- Preparing financial reporting package to Head Office
- Preparing forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines
- Coordinate and liaise with Head Office internal auditor and external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
- Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST/WHT/Corporate tax), audits, procedures, and forms both statutory and internal
- Assist in new processes and system implementation when required
- Involve in fixed asset and inventory physical checking
- Weekly Forex booking, record data during issue of PO and dealing with Forex contract
- Arranging for monthly payment payable to vendors and staff
- Issuing of Purchase Order
- Other General Administrative duties assigned
The Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting or related equivalent
- Knowledge in full set of Accounts
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Account Payable
- Strong financial competency, analytical & problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in an MNC environment would be advantageous
- Must be able to join immediately
