Overview of Role
Reporting to the Regional Head of Trade Support - APAC, this individual will be part of a team that provides trade support to Oil Trading team. In this role, you will gain hands on experience and learn the mechanics of how settlement team handle shipping documentation and monitor receivables/payments, as well as master the basic knowledge of incoterms.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft invoices.
- Follow up on cargo related documentation.
- Process incoming invoices and monitor payment status
- Letter of Credit related documentation
- Assist with spreadsheet updates.
- Input or update information into trading system
- Filing/ Document Management
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by your manager.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field
- At least 1-2 years’ experience working in trading environment a plus.
- Adept at using systems.
- Basic Letter of Credit knowledge would be good to have.
- Experience in prioritization and time management skills with ability to work under pressure in dynamic environment.
- Proficient software applications knowledge/ usage (Microsoft office)
- Team player, flexible, pro-active and able to take initiative to complete tasks.
