Responsibilities:
- Monitoring system performance, analyzing usage trends and providing recommendations for improvements.
- Managing and maintaining digital pathology systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely support to resolve system malfunctions or user concerns.
- Implementing and overseeing data security measures to protect patient information and maintain regulatory compliance
- Conduct regular system updates, upgrades and patches to ensure optimal performance and feature enhancements.
- Training pathologists, laboratory technologists and other users on the proper use of digital pathology tools and systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of the digital pathology IT lab workflow
- Participate/lead in the digital pathology project (e.g., requirement gathering, attend meetings, propose solution, vendor evaluation risk assessment etc.)
Requirements:
- Degree in Biomedical Science or related disciplines with 4 years related experience or Degree in IT with 2 years of related experience
- Good knowledge of laboratory operations and workflow
- Good knowledge of data analysis and LAN environment
- Good knowledge of office software (e.g. MS Office, email), PC setup and troubleshooting
- Very good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Accuracy and meticulousness
