The LawNet team is looking for an assistant manager for our business operations team, to help deliver an excellent experience for our customers. Our ideal candidate is customer-centric and experienced in managing business operations for similar digital services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
(A) Business Operations & Reporting (LawNet)
- Provide backend guidance to customer service team to ensure timely and effective support for account management, feedback and other customer inquiries.
- Backend support to both internal and external teams in resolving customer support requests – including triage, prioritisation, coordinating teams and basic troubleshooting.
- Prepare business/usage reports for internal teams and customers.
- Support LawNet IT audit exercises – e.g., preparation of documentation, answering audit queries.
- Support user testing and change management e.g. for new content or features.
- Plan and lead regular review of processes and performance metrics, to guide internal teams in continuously improving product and support standards
(B) Procurement
- Review and process procurement requests promptly, following audit requirements.
- Assist internal stakeholders in the process of soliciting quotes from suppliers and generating purchase orders for them.
- Coordinate accurate and timely payments to suppliers.
- Maintain technology contracts register & support timely contract renewals.
- Regularly review procurement processes and propose improvements
(C) Administration and Secretariat Support
- Support business decisions by preparing routine and ad-hoc reports.
- Plan and organise monthly staff engagement activities.
- Provide secretarial support for company board meetings and townhalls, including scheduling, minute-taking and room arrangements.
- Assist in record keeping of company resolutions and staff circulars.
- Undertake any other operational task as assigned.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- At least a Diploma qualification.
- Minimum 2-years’ experience in an operations role within a professional customer service setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel and Word).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Meticulous, systematic and process-oriented.
- Able to adapt and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable experience in analysing and improving work processes.
