Who We Need
The Business Analysis & Strategic Planning department provides competitive information, statistics and business analysis to facilitate strategic planning and decision-making for the growth of Alvernia.
As a not-for-profit hospital, Alvernia relies on its business growth to fund and expand our outreach programmes meant to make social impacts to our community and touch lives of the less privileged. Reporting to the Assistant Director, Corporate Development, to perform your role well, you need to possess an analytical mindset and be equipped with data collection and data mining skillset. As a staff of Mount Alvernia Hospital, especially within the Corporate Development division that drives the outreach portfolio, you should have an innate desire to serve and uplift the disadvantaged and vulnerable communities in Singapore.
The responsibilities are as stated below.
- Support the development of long-term strategic plans for hospital business and community outreach.
- Coordinate the annual business planning exercise including organizing various retreat sessions.
- Monitor latest industry trends and government healthcare policies.
- Carry out research and analysis in relation to hospital performance, new hospital initiatives and outreach programmes.
- Work with various departments for data analysis, timely collation of reports and tracking and presentation of business performance statistics.
- Coordinate cross-departmental projects for the Division.
How to Succeed
- Must possess a Degree in any discipline, Social Sciences preferred.
- Team-player, self-starter with strong sense of initiative, agility and perseverance in delivering quality work within the set deadlines.
- Meticulous and organised to execute various projects and activities simultaneously.
- Strong research, analytical and reporting skills.
- Well versed in Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel.
- Possess a passion to serve the community.
