Global Supply Management, Advisor

Our Global Supply Management team within the Materials and Procurement Organization takes charge of global supply planning for specific platforms and commodities. Focused on business goals and objectives, we take the lead in supplier selection, product delivery specifications, and quality. We succeed through our ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with global internal and external supply chain partners.
Join us as a Global Supply Management, Advisor for Memory on our Procurement Market Commodities team in Singapore.
What you’ll achieve
As a Global Supply Manager you will be responsible for providing procurement expertise to ensure optimized supply chain strategies across multiple business units.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate global supply with regional procurement and balance available supply against supplier capacity
- Build collaborative relationships with vendor base and drive continuity of supply actions on appropriate cadence
- Accountable for supplier’s operational execution and will use the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process to manage supplier performance, giving feedback on exceptional execution as well as areas for improvement
- Provide material commitments based on time to market requirements for new memory technology and/or platform launches (NPI)
- Work cross functionally with planning and product management teams to mitigate aging/excess inventory

Essential Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience; demand/supply planning, vendor management
- Experience with large data sets to identify market, demand, and/or supply trends for informed decision making; advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Great attention to detail w/ the ability to summarize complex issues for leadership decision making or requests for assistance
- Ability to navigate cross functional organizations and influence up to Director level contacts inside and outside of the procurement organization
- Should be proactive and always operating with a high sense of urgency
Desirable Requirements
- Desire to take on special projects that create value for the broader market commodities organization
- Technical knowledge of memory and/or PC & Enterprise hardware
