The Company invites applicants for the position of Finance Manager.
Specific Responsibilities
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial reporting of Singapore Reinsurance Corporation Ltd are running smoothly, including but not restricting to the following activities:
- Responsible for quality review and timely submission of quarterly and annual group, regulatory and statutory reports and tax reporting (IFRS 17 and MAS);
- Responsible for review and efficient running of finance and investment operation.
- Develop in-depth understanding of financial results and support the analysis of the company’s financial performance and identify any anomalies, generating meaningful commentaries to provide actionable insights to management;
- Active collaboration with management and both internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors and regulatory authorities;
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives of processes and automation projects;
- Any other ad-hoc assignments and projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting and/or relevant professional qualifications
- 6-8 years’ relevant work experience in the (re)insurance industry
- Sound technical competencies of IFRS 17 is preferred
- Strong knowledge and experience in reporting under ACRA, MAS and IRAS regulatory reporting experience in a (re)insurance company in Singapore
- High proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience working with GL systems would be advantageous
