Job Description:
The candidate will train large language models with multimodal inputs (e.g. human generated text, programming languages, images). The candidate will investigate techniques to make language models amenable to logical reasoning and arithmetic reasoning. The candidate will need to scope out possible data collection, curation, and cleaning strategies and publish at high-impact venues in machine learning, NLP, and AI.
Job Requirement:
- PhD in computer science with specialization in NLP, machine learning, deep learning, multimodal processing, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience
- Proficient programming skills (C++ experience preferred), familiarity with Linux, adept with processing and training large language models
- Publications at top AI/NLP/ML venues are a must
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in large-scale data processing (e.g. at least 40GB of text) is highly desirable
