Job Description:
- Overall in charge of entities’ financials, including timely and accurate reporting of financials for month end / year end close.
- Lead the External Audit Planning and Closing meetings, ensure that audit is smooth running and finalize Audited Financial Statements timely.
- Responsible for reviewing and finalizing the Audited Financial Statements. Highlight areas of concern to Management.
- Lead the financial presentation including explanations on variances and ensure that irregularities are adjusted and addressed promptly before month-end close.
- Lead in Group consolidation, including advisory to overseas finance managers, review of Group Cashflow, including Notes to Accounts and BPC Reporting Pack.
- Ensure proper review of balance sheet items and ensure no long outstanding balances.
- Review corporate tax and GST and ensure compliance issues are highlighted and addressed, including GST ACAP Certification and Review.
- Review of Acquisitions in Company and accounting for such acquisitions.
- Drive financial policies governance and process application, set up processes for new initiatives and implementation of internal controls to ensure governance and compliance.
- Lead in process improvements and system enhancements, automations in relation to fixed assets and statutory finance reporting
- Contribute to due diligence and evaluation of proposed investments by the Group
- Accounting for special projects
- Provides direct support to Company Management and Company Finance, Tax and Treasury on company's financials and analysis required.
- Provides financial support to Business , including queries from Business and external parties on company's financials.
- Determine the relevant accounting standards and treatment for revenue and cost recognition for projects and direct sales which impacts the reported profitability of the business.
- Supervise and be responsible for team management and development of staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance, ACCA/CA professional certification preferred
