Panasonic Information Systems Company Asia Pacific (PISCAP) is an IT solutions partner which provides IT Professional Services to 63 Panasonic Group companies in APAC Region, comprising of 7 Main Business Lines. About the Role
Program Management and Integration is a key capability in PISC organization, providing cross-functional management of business transformation initiatives with broad, diverse work streams and multiple projects. The Project Manager will operate as the program management lead partnering cross functionally to manage across all work streams, sub-projects and functions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Works regionally and cross functionally to facilitate and drive the timely global roll out of our integrated SAP platform, Salesforce and related interfaces.
- Creates and oversees the integrated program plans and will be responsible to deliver their program on time, on-budget, with specified scope across all functional areas, including integrated program plan (master timeline), project charter, resource plan, budget, status reporting and governance.
- Accountable to the Executive Steering Committee and ensures the necessary process, structure, resources, and governance is in place to deliver successful results.
- Partners cross-functionally to align technical solutions with business needs and enhance connectivity of business units, regions, functional areas and IT solutions/systems.
- Drives accountability and owns the Program Management deliverables including creating the optimal program structure, program kick off, building a high performing team, facilitating workshops, and program budget.
- Facilitates program key meetings. Leads on presenting updates to steering and executive committee.
- Establishes team agreements/ground rules at program start and drives collaboration and communication across teams and stakeholders to deliver optimal results.
- Facilitates conflict resolution and jumpstarts stalled deliverables by identifying and removing barriers and driving issues to timely resolution.
- Ensures Program Sponsors and stakeholders are regularly engaged for input/consultation communicating any emerging risks and corresponding mitigation plans. Provides transparent and timely reporting to all stakeholders.
- Advises and coaches stakeholders, direct reports, team members, and other project managers in excelling at their role and ensures program priorities are clear.
- Evaluates and assesses project/program post implementation and presents key findings/lessons learned to executive leadership. Communicates learnings that can be reapplied across PISC.
Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- At least 10 years’ project management for full life cycle of business transformation projects by leveraging Salesforce platform.
- Minimum 2 years Program Management / PMO experience with responsibility for delivering large, complex cross-functional initiatives and managing teams. Regional experience highly preferred.
- Has served as a Program/Project Management leader on multiple enterprise programs and has experience in creating program and PMO structures.
- Strong understanding in Project Management Methodologies. Project Management Professionals (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Understanding in IT Service Management is desirable. ITIL certification is preferred but not required.
- Experience in implementing SAP or Salesforce in global/regional organizations highly preferred.
- Good understanding of sales, manufacturing and/or finance end-to-end processes.
- Industry knowledge: preferably discrete or repetitive manufacturing industry. Other non-finance industries like energy, electrical/electronics, automotive, telecommunications are equally welcome.
- Ability to manage complexity; distil complex information and processes into simple views and communications.
- Excellent in delivering presentation to project stakeholders and management team.
- Understanding in API technologies (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and experience in designing/implementing API systems is desirable.
- Familiarity with industry-standard integration platforms and tools (e.g. MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel) is desirable.
- Excellent skills in Excel, Project and PowerPoint in crafting and delivering management messages.
- Ability to work with minimum guidance & directions.
- Understanding and experience with agile methodologies
- Language proficiency: English, Mandarin (preferred but not mandatory).
