The Company
Our client is a rapidly growing retail business with offices and operations in Southeast Asia, with an aim to expand its retail outlets across the region. As a result of their growth, they are currently seeking an Accountant to join their regional office in Singapore.
The Position
Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, the Accountant will play a crucial role in the day-to-day accounting operations, monthly/yearly closings, annual budgeting, forecasting, and maintenance of accurate financial records. The role will also involve assisting in the preparation of audit and tax schedules, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure data accuracy. Additionally, the accountant will be expected to actively participate in ad-hoc duties and projects as required.
The Person
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in accounting/finance, with those having experience in the retail industry having an added advantage. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a demonstrated willingness to learn.
