Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Contract IT Project Executive to assist in various IT infrastructure and system projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT project management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. This is a contract position with the opportunity for extension based on performance and project needs.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones for IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Coordinate project activities, resources, and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee networking projects, including infrastructure setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Manage IT assets inventory and ensure proper tracking, documentation, and disposal procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to optimize infrastructure performance and reliability.
SharePoint Setup, Migration, and Training:
- Setup and configuration of SharePoint sites, customizations, and workflows.
- Plan and execute SharePoint migration projects, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to users.
- Provide training and support to end-users on SharePoint functionality and best practices.
Accounting System Implementation:
- Manage the implementation of a new accounting system, working closely with finance and vendor for setup and configuration.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, data migration, and system integration activities.
- Facilitate training sessions for finance staff on the use of accounting software and related processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Sound understanding of networking principles, IT infrastructure components, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
