We are looking for an Events Manager to join our team!
As an Events Manager, we rely on you to:
- Analyses market trends, reviews direct competition, implements proactive strategies to meet market changes
- Work closely with relevant teams to maximize catering revenue through effective space management
- Handles incoming/outgoing inquiries and correspondence
- Conducts hotel inspections and/or handle walk-in inquiries
- Provides professional advice, menu recommendation, upsell/cross sell hotel services
- Coordinates event requirements, food tasting etc with organisers and hotel operating teams
- Attends and provides support to all events/functions
- Develop juniors under their guidance to prepare them for future growth opportunities in sales and events
We are looking for someone who:
- Has passion to implement and drive catering revenue strategies
- Enjoys interacting with people
- Is professional, experienced, independent and self-motivated
- Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
- Preferably with hospitality-related work experience
- Has strong interpersonal, communication, organisation and analytical skills
