Job Description:
- Overall control and responsibility for the designated project.
- Establish, monitor and update all Project plans, budgets, programmes and resources requirements
- Establish the Project tendering procedures and conditions, structuring of contract packages and appointment, administration and payment of all subcontractors and suppliers.
- Identify, report and update the Contract changes and modifications to the relevant parties.
- Ensure the financial standing of the Contract is maintained at all times and reporting in line with Company Policy and that all opportunities are taken to minimize cost,
- Direct and manage the performances of responsibilities delegated to the subordinate staff employed in the Project.
- Coordinate all Project support and development of Project staff.
- Ensure the Project safety and environmental protection are in compliance with Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Acts and Site Safety Plan.
- Ensure the quality of works delivered is in accordance with the design and QA/QC Plan.
- Maintain professional relationship with Owner, Client, Consultant and Local Authorities.
- Ensure that all relevant notifications to the Client are delivered in the current form and within the necessary time frame.
- Monitor performance of subordinate staff employed in the Project and to identify deficiency and initiate both training on and off site for the development of the staff.
- Promote good morale, team spirit, industrial relations and enforce discipline where necessary.
- Ensure the portrayal of the Company’s image to the Company’s advantage at all time,
- Provide a positive example for all Company staff
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Company systems.
Job Requirements
- Degree with background in construction engineering
- Minimum 6-8 years of relevant project experience (Life Science)
- Knowledge of project management, preferably PMI certified PMP
