A Quantity Surveyor ensures building projects remain within budget, provides cost and material estimates, draws up projected budgets, noting any design changes and their effects on cost.
- A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:
- Reviews construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
- Prepares tender and contract documents
- Scrutinizes maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
- Liaises with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Prepares reports, analyses contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
- Advises on improvements and new strategies.
- Ensures that material are sufficiently stocked.
- Documents any changes in design and updating budgets.

· Education: Diploma/ Degree in QS, Building Management or equivalent
· Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in a similar position
