The responsibilities of this role are:
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Work with business units to identify staffing needs, and support the recruitment and onboarding of top talent.
- Collaborate on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
Business Partnership:
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand their objectives and challenges, and work as a strategic partner to develop and implement HR strategies that support those objectives.
- Provide expert HR guidance to business leaders on employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits and organizational development.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the design and implementation of performance management programs that align with business objectives.
- Provide guidance on goal setting, feedback, and development planning for employees.
Organizational Development:
- Identify opportunities for organizational development and provide expertise in areas such as team dynamics, leadership development, and change management.
- Assist with the design and implementation of HR programs and initiatives that drive cultural and operational improvements.
Employee Relations:
- Manage employee relations matters by resolving issues and addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and fostering open communication between staff and management.
- Uphold adherence to employment laws and regulations, offering guidance to business leaders on HR policies and procedures.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize HR analytics and data to provide insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making.
- Create and maintain HR metrics and reports for business unit leaders.
L & D:
- Collaborate with the HR and Learning & Development teams to identify training and development needs within the business units.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of training programs and initiatives.
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
- Excellent communication and good interpersonal flexibility.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align HR practices with business goals.
- 8 years of experience in HR, including prior HRBP roles.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Min. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Certification in HR (e.g., IHRP-CP) is a plus.
