d’Optron is seeking a computer vision engineer for research and development into novel 3D inspection and testing solution with AI capability. Industries include semi-con, electronics (SMT), Optics and Robotics amongst others. Person should have individual problem solving skills with good team work attitude to develop and deliver 3D imaging solution to growing industrial markets. This position requires an engineering degree with two years of industrial experience or a Master by research degree.
Duties (not limited to) include
- Weekly team meetings with local and overseas partners.
- Work with customers on specifications and system design
- Integrate necessary hardware and develop software solutions to meet customers’ specs
- Set-up and perform test and characterization of imaging systems.
- Regular updates to customer on progress
- Work on and attract new imaging and vision-based projects.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or Physics – higher degree preferred
- Knowledge of imaging hardware and their interfacing and control
- Strong programming skills including C++, MATLAB, Python etc
- Knowledge of Machine (Deep) Learning techniques for inspection also helpful
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently
