Our Client:
Our Client is a luxury fashion brand that originated in Spain. We seek a Regional Supply Chain Manager to be responsible for sales and distribution planning to ensure product delivery excellence across channels and product categories whilst maximizing inventory and operational efficiencies.
Job Responsibilities
Business Partnering
- Act as a business partner for the regional merchandising team by reviewing and challenging their inputs and proactively proposing strategies further to support the business. This includes providing an input to the PER and CO assortment definition, participate on retail projects from a supply chain and logistics side or lead stock rebalancing, store openings, or omnichannel strategies.
- Supervise the Logistics network in the Region and control 3PL service performance in alignment with the global logistics team and the Fashion Group in the region.
Sales Planning
- Take ownership of the monthly best estimates process for all categories: work closely with regional merchandising, general management, and global business planning team
- Be a strong business partner to the merchandising and global planning teams during each buying session, setting up challenging sales plans for each season and coordinating buys order entry in alignment with process rules, maintenance, and delivery.
- Inventory planning processes in region, inventory management and optimization from sales planning to liquidation. Set Inventory targets by product category and establish a continuous improvement method to maximize inventory productivity.
Distribution Planning and Execution
- Manage product deliveries across the logistics network in the region and last mile distribution to stores. Responsible for achieving optimal assortment availability ratios and seasonal product delivery on launch date.
- Manage inventory allocation to distribution orders with right prioritization of stock assignment to distribution orders, based on business priorities.
Digital Fulfilment
- Monitor 3PL order processing and last mile delivery performance and service levels to consumers.
- Provide input to the global logistics team in the design of the regional digital fulfillment network (inventory nodes, last mile transportation partners, added value services expected by consumers, delivery lead-times expectations).
Job Requirements
- 8-10 years of supply chain management experience, fashion and luxury experience is an advantage.
- Experience in business and sales planning in a retail business
- Demonstrated ability of managing cost performance, supply/demand forecasting & distribution execution for a broad product range across multiple channels
