This role is an individual contributor position, reporting to the Manager of the Global Factory IT group, based in Singapore.

About the role - you will:

  • Analyze, design, and undertake the development of software systems for assigned projects.
  • Write, edit, and debug software for assigned projects.
  • Contribute to the analysis of software projects including performance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide direct/Indirect supports to production/business on troubleshooting app/sys issues and recommend solutions.
  • Provide integration with other systems from Engineering, IT, Boomi and SAP
  • Using Agile development framework, Analyze, design, develop and deployment of programs/features base on business and SAP requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to users and other IT function.
  • Involve in key architectural optimization of the system.

About you:

Your experience includes:

  • 2+ years’ experience in professional software development
  • Experience in containerization and CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience in .NET Razor/Blazor frameworks
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Experience with Agile frameworks such Scrum or Kanban
  • Ability to navigate complexity by quickly making sense of complex issues and ambiguity by seeking to clarity and isolate into the most important elements.
  • Troubleshooting and performance optimization experience, especially on production systems
  • Working with enterprise distributed systems and SaaS applications
  • Software delivery in regulated compliance-based environments

Location:

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.  Here at work, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks at our onsite canteen and coffee shop.
