A DAY IN A LIFE
We are looking for a strong operations leader with a passion for applying technology to untangle the many real world logistics and people challenges in scaling our secret sauce. You will be responsible for both experimenting and rolling out delivery capabilities in all local markets, as well as managing the performance of teams and delivery partners that orchestrate our unique operating model. That means, same-day delivery anywhere in Southeast Asia is your northstar.
- Develop and operationalize strategies that help us achieve our mission of a unique operating model that delivers within 24 hours anywhere in Southeast Asia. Take accountability to ensure service levels are constantly exceeded.
- Engage with business solutions or success teams in various countries to identify pricing models for them to sell - ensure you are constantly measuring the unit economics and have a clear path to profitability for delivery operations.
- Provide strategic and “boots on the ground” guidance alongside our product and technology teams to define, build and iterate features that make our software layer the central nervous system for the operational teams under your control.
- Lead, recruit, supervise, and train diverse teams to achieve launches and operational readiness regionally.
- Consistently write, rewrite and embed processes or heuristics that capture and refine a scaling and more efficient approach to all our operations.
- Be accountable to scale, maintain and engage our delivery-partner fleet by ensuring constant and adequate inflow of rider supply and rider retention, community and engagement initiatives, including partnerships.
- Implement reports, feedback loops and few, but far reaching data-driven tracking (metrics) to capture the quality of our best-in-class delivery experience.
SKILLS
These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role: (If any, otherwise you can skip)
- Proven experience in leadership roles within logistics, technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, supply chain, and technology driven solutions.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing scalable operational strategies.
- Experience in leading and managing diverse teams in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
