Job Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Lead the Production Division in the formulation and implementation of Production business plans to achieve the company goals and objectives.
  2. Manage and promote the company’s core values, business objectives and targets, including the development of supporting personnel and features for the continued growth of the company.
  3. Induct, train, coach, develop human resource and succession planning for the division.
  4. Participate and contribute actively either as the Chairman or as a member in the various committees of the company or any other company wide gathering.
  5. Maintain the discipline and cohesiveness of staffs under charge, working towards achieving the corporate objectives. Have a nose in recognizing problems.
  6. Need to write to internal or external customers in the most effectively and concise manner. Conversely, must be able to converse concisely and timely.
  7. Coordinate and take leadership of all the managers and assistant managers who are head of their respective department.
  8. Manage and delegate work within division sphere.
  9. Lead in the management and control of budgets of jobs designated to the department.
  10. Lead and formulate plans for expansion/improvement for the production division.
  11. Oversee all production and maintenance projects to the satisfaction of client’s requirements by providing technical and management guidance to production departments.
  12. Ensure all production department projects are plan, coordinated and executed smoothly to meet customer’s requirements with highest quality and EHS compliance.
  13. Manage and deploy production resources (manpower, material, tool & equipment, logistics, technical etc) efficiently and productively.
  14. Analyze job scope and plan resources with the department heads.
  15. Liaise with customers on job matters.
  16. Manage sub-contractors.
  17. Chair and conduct daily production and monthly safety committee meetings.
  18. Approve in house training programs and training materials.
  19. Conduct in-house training for staffs and when required.
  20. Forecast the divisional requirements.
  21. Communicate and carry out the management requirements to subordinates.
  22. Implement the company’s IMS system for continuous improvement.
  23. Conduct post project performance evaluation and identify areas for improvement.
  24. Ensure project cost are controlled within budget and minimize wastage.
  25. Continuously review and improve work methods and enhance productivity of workmen.
  26. Conduct internal audit and self-assessment for IMS.
  27. Oversee the development of production indicators, man-hour standards, work instructions and risk assessments.
  28. Act on behalf of the COO in his absence.
  29. Perform any other duties assigned by the COO.


Minimum Requirements

  • A Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Engineering Maintenance Services and 5 years’ experience at the managerial level.
  • Possess strong leadership and organizational qualities.
  • Possess strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Possess own transport
