Job description
- Oversee the fabrication and modification of new stamping tools
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting to resolve tooling-related problems and optimize manufacturing processes
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for tooling and equipment to minimize downtime and prolong lifespan
- Provide support to others workshop on fabrication
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all tooling activities
- Supervise a team of tooling technicians
Job requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience in tooling design, development, and implementation, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
