Responsibilities:
- Reviews project specification and provide necessary welding information and advice to meet the requirements of the project
- Reviews project specification for welding process, base metals, filler metals, and select appropriate Welding Procedure Specification (WPS)
- Maintains the better welding control at Workshop, Onboard, and other worksites to avoid complaints/ non-conformance
- Monitors the welder's performance, implement the control measures to improve the weld failure rate
- Monitors welding activities to ensure project specific requirements are fulfilled
Requirements:
- Preferably 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge in Metallurgy and Welding
- Able to prepare Quality Assurance Plans and Procedures, Quality Management System, and Quality System Audits
- Good in planning, organising, interpersonal skills and able to work independently
