The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) aspires to provide excellent, patient-centred care and to improve the health of the population in the east of Singapore. We aim to develop future-ready systems to support patients’ healthcare journeys and to be an employer of choice for our staff.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team in the vendor and contract management role. You will play a crucial role in managing the correspondence and liaison with relevant vendors to ensure the strategic and operational needs of the hospital are met. You will manage vendor contracts efficiently and effectively to achieve said strategic objectives by overseeing vendor relationships and contract management processes, including vendor selection and management. You will support the drafting of service level requirements and the scope of work for ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. You will also monitor contract performance and KPIs, addressing any issues in a timely manner.
Additionally, you are expected to oversee the day-to-day operations upon EGH’s opening.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a health-care related discipline with at least 2 years of working experience
- Proven experience in vendor and contract management, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting
- Knowledge and skill in design thinking, change management, project management, technology adoption and process methodologies
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and a growing organisation with multi-generational staff
- Team player, highly motivated and action-oriented with excellent planning, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Able to work under pressure, adapt to change and manage challenges
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
