Our client, an international reputable contractor, is looking for General Manager/Director for their subsidiary, an M&E contractor.
This role will report to CEO, and manage the company’s operations and profits and losses. The ideal candidate should be someone from M&E contractor background and has successfully managed the operations of the company.
about the job
- Overseeing all projects. Managing and liaising with various Project Managers to make sure project delivered within costs, quality and time.
- Guiding Project Managers and Department heads in strategic decision-making, offering leadership and guidance, and nurturing their leadership abilities to attain operational goals and objectives.
- Overseeing essential performance metrics and operational indicators, analyzing data to pinpoint areas needing enhancement, and implementing strategies to boost performance.
- Attend meetings with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors with project managers to resolve complex issues.
- Manage profits and losses for the company.
- Participate in management meetings to provide updates on project advancement and ensure the Board remains informed about any significant concerns
- Establish and cultivate robust professional connections with clients and consultants.
skills & experience required
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, recognized by PE Board Singapore/ BCA/ IES.
- At least 15 years or more experience with M&E Contractor in the local construction industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in a high-level leadership position overseeing teams and spearheading projects and initiatives.
- Outstanding leadership abilities and communication skills, capable of motivating and inspiring teams to work collaboratively towards common goals.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving organizational growth, operational efficiency, and financial performance in the construction industry.
