The role will serve as the HR shared services Center for SEA (Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Malaysia and Taiwan) and will be accountable for the end-to-end HR service delivery. Reporting to regional HR manager APAC and collaborating closely with HR Business Partners, the role is expected to develop and implement strategic initiatives and process improvements to ensure consistency & compliance as well as HR operational capabilities are effectively leverage across the entities.
- Build and develop a strong HR Shared Services center that focuses on ensure achievement of key HR service delivery KPI, process conformance and process optimization.
- Provide guidance and support to the team in handling HR inquiries, including but not limited to employee onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, and HR policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on HR laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to employees.
- Conduct regular training sessions for HR team members to enhance their knowledge and skills in HR operations.
- Recruitment coordination and posting
- Preparation of work passes and visa applications including renewals and cancellations.
- Induction and orientation planning
- Administer and check monthly payroll of the entities in a timely and accurate manner. Close liaison with HRBPs to ensure that changes in payroll are reflected.
- HRIS management including employee data, leave records and payroll records in the local HR systems and vendors. Responsible for making changes to Sucessfactor employee position and information updates, uploading of compensation portlet.
- Generate standardized letters in relation to employment, confirmation, merit increase, salary increment, promotion, acceptance of resignation.
- Ensure offboarding process is carried out in a compliant manner.
- Ensure data privacy and security in HR operations by maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in HR management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in HR operations or within an SSC or multinational organization.
- In-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations across the South-Eastern Asia region.
- Strong experience in managing HR processes, such as employee lifecycle management, payroll, benefits, and HRIS.
- Proven track record of managing a diverse team in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices for HR operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software applications (Experienced in Timesoft and SAP Successfactor would be advantegous)
- Fluency in English is required, proficiency in other languages within the South-Eastern Asia region is a plus.
