Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to optimize existing chemical processes, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize data analysis tools to assess process parameters, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal operations.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes, including P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines, actively participating in HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to streamline processes and increase overall productivity.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain product quality standards, contributing to the development and implementation of quality control measures within the manufacturing process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, participate in relevant training programs, and share knowledge with the team to foster continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Chemical Engineering
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in the process control / chemical industry
- Must have experience in either PFD / P&ID
- Good communication skills and Interpersonal skills
