Sales Management
- Responsible for Top-line target / budget through management of sales activities and projects for the Modern off Trade. Optimize sales opportunities and defend/gain market share.
- Develop short and long-term strategic plans in line with channel strategy, prepare and review business plans to ensure overall plan is commercially focused in revenue and profits.
- Formulate strategies to drive sales based on market developments, management feedback, and ensure inventory forecast is accurate and healthy.
- Work with Marketing and Trade Marketing to ensure brands are preserved and segment activities are relevant and impactful to drive sales.
- Optimize distribution for all represented brands and opportunity at each segment and ensure to have the right partnership to drive sell-out and enhance customer focus in key markets.
Key Account Management
- Ensure continuous development of the segment account management function and ensure best practice, and consistency across account management.
- Perform sales analysis to manage performance against budget and assessment of market penetration.
- Maintain an effective communication process to and from key partners, including communicating brand direction, opportunities and resolution of business issues; ensure consistent communication with internal operating departments and management to ensure our ability to execute against sales plans.
- Prepare forecasts against sales within the segment on a periodic basis and to monitor and manage changes to the forecast to ensure that the pipeline of activity is always sufficient to meet the allocated target(s).
- Develop solid and long-term influential relationships with retailers and key decision makers at all levels in the assigned customer base.
Market / Customer Insights and Communication
- Monitor competitors’ activities; plan and implement promotional activities
- Observe and monitor market movements including the needs of consumers, provide analysis and formulate a strategy to target key opportunities and tailor value propositions to establish differentiating plus sustainable advantage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in any business-related disciplines
- 5 years of relevant working experience in the FMCG industry
- Successful track record working with modern trade account
- Good analytical and organizational skills
- Results-driven with great commercial acumen
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability in problems solving.
