Responsibilities:
- Plan inspection programs and adhere to quality control requirements.
- Support root cause and data analysis for defect reduction and process yield improvement.
- Conduct daily track inspections with clients and construction team.
- Chair meetings with site team, sub-contractors, consultants and clients.
- Maintain open communication by presenting regular updates on project quality control to clients.
- Build a good networking relationship with clients.
- Coordinate with clients regarding issues and defects on site.
- Submit reports to clients daily.
- Prepared checklists for different components of third rail based on manufacturers ITP to check
- manufacturers’ standards
- Liaise with LTA, SMRT and supplier to carry out material inspection
- Coordinate with material supplier and manufacturer before receiving materials for installation of
- third rail
- Check materials for any physical damage and ensure there is proper traceability to FATs (Factory
- Acceptance Test)
- Record all inspections and send reports to SMRT
- Prepare rejection report
- Ensure materials reach site for installation after QC inspection by managing material issuance
- procedure.
- Inspected concrete track bed casting and checked the quality of concrete
- Ensured all equipment and tools used are calibrated regularly
- Prepared concrete related reports for submission to LTA
- Inspected concrete sleepers laying and also checked if there is any hogging or sagging in the sleepers
- Trained supervisors to carry out NDT test on rail welds and closely monitor the test results
Requirements:
- Min Degree in any Mechanical/Electronic/Mechatronics Engineering
- Good understanding in ISO standard for ISO 9000, 14000, and18000
- Railway project experience is a plus
