Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform the duties of a WSH Officer as stipulated in the Workplace Safety and Health Regulations, and align with the WSH Act, regulations, and Code of Practices.
- Identify training needs, develop, and deliver ESH training to strengthen employees’ awareness of EHS on a regular basis.
- Coordinate external audits and maintain EHS documents for ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 Certification
- Conduct internal audits, Fault-Tree gap analysis, and root cause identification and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure the EHS Management System and documentation are always updated.
- Ensure all EHS incidents and/or accidents are thoroughly investigated and efficiently closed
- Collate and analyze incident/accident statistics, prepare reports, make recommendations, and implement control measures and/or procedural changes to eliminate/reduce the risk of future occurrences.
- Conduct EHS induction for new employees, contractors, contract workers, temp employees, and/or visitors as and when necessary.
- Responsible for the efficiency of EHS programs for Emerson’s staff, contract workers, vendors, contractors & visitors where applicable.
- Liaise, coordinate & handles all EHS-related matters with the relevant authorities such as MOM, NEA, HSA, SCDF, and SPF.
- Keep abreast with local EHS-related legislations and WSH developments
- Share and disseminate relevant information effectively to enable continual improvement
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Environmental Management, Occupational Health, and Safety or Specialized Diploma in WSH
- MOM’s registered WSHO Officer
- Proven experience carried out by a WSHO and Fire Safety Manager (FSM), with good knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental Law & Regulations of Singapore
