Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary escalation point for emerging or sudden supply disruptions and provide administrative support for all forecasting, purchasing, inventory, and logistics-related matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and appointed local partners to ensure excellent service levels and leverage their support for urgent service recoveries as needed.
- Conduct forecast sufficiency and reasonability checks, sharing trend insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to review and improve demand accuracy to enhance supply chain efficiency and customer service levels.
1. Forecasting, Inventory Planning, and Logistics:
- Manage the inventory planning process for assigned categories, including inventory replenishment, purchase order preparation, order tracking, and timely updates to relevant parties.
- Support new product launches and depletion, as well as prepare claims against suppliers for damaged or short-supplied stocks.
- Maintain monthly inventory in line with required safety stock levels and investigate stock discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Analyze business risks and opportunities, proposing appropriate mitigation plans.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and conduct sufficiency and reasonability checks on forecasts.
2. Continuous Improvement/Reporting:
- Collaborate with the commercial team to review and reduce market returns and minimize business waste.
- Prepare weekly/monthly management meeting and business review decks.
- Establish and analyze supply chain management reports, recommending and delivering cost and process improvement opportunities.
- Drive improvement initiatives related to supply and inventory management to support commercial goals.
- Support supply chain digital transformation initiatives and participate in collaboration opportunities with external parties.
3. Leadership and Development:
- Oversee and steer supply activities across total chilled and ambient categories to ensure business objectives are met.
- Provide backup for colleagues as per exigencies of work.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in a Business-related course.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in FMCG Manufacturing.
- Proficiency in SAP knowledge.
