Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure production output, downtime, defects and spoilage meet targets
- Ensure production processes adhere to specifications and quality standards
- Ensure all GMP, 5S Housekeeping, Safety, and Health standards are well-maintained
- Manage, control, and allocate manpower to support daily activities of the production operations
- Identify and implement areas for continuous improvement
- Identify training needs and cross-training of operators and technicians to develop workforce capabilities
- Liaise with supporting functions to resolve operational issues
- Implement overall cost control and cost-saving measures.
- Plan & submit Capex proposal for improvement plan within the department.
- Lead a team of preventive maintenance technicians to repair and maintain production machines.
- Perform engineering analysis to resolve customer complaints, machine breakdowns, and OEE.
- Work closely with QA to investigate problems and perform root cause analysis to establish preventive or corrective actions.
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
- Possess experience managing production lines with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and other quality methodology
- Analytical thinker with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and experience in upholding quality and EHS management systems
