The Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for all cost and contractual issues on Main contract as well as Sub-contracts connected to the project.
A summary of the responsibilities for this position is, and not limited to, as follows:
- Preparation of Monthly Progress claims, variation orders and payments to subcontractors
- Involve in managing and reporting of project budget & cost control
- Responsible in Post-Contracts administration for both the Main Contract and Subcontracts
- Monitor all financial aspects of the projects to ensure projects run according to budget
- Liaise and establish rapport with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers and contractors on certification of claims for payment
- Be familiar with various stages of projects so as to source for the most viable yet reasonable priced materials
- Able to share new perspectives on cost, orders and claims
- With the understanding of the contractual legal rights, he/ she will be involved in advising the management on their position of the contract from the tender stage

- Maintain the project’s bottom line by projecting the right cost for tenders and timely claims for the project
- Establish a good relationship with Client, Consultants and subcontractors to ensure that the project is smoothly managed in terms of resources and timeline
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 6 years working experience in tendering, estimating and measurement of quantities on projects worth at least $100 million
- Candidates with knowledge in Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) Conditions of Contract, REDAS, FIDIC, FIDIC Short Form of Contracts will be an added advantage

- Robust knowledge of materials and works for site usage
- Good knowledge on local pricings
