Responsibilities:
QA Automation Strategy:
· Lead and strategize the overall QA automation activities.
· Implement cutting-edge QA technologies and methodologies at an organizational level. Alignment with Business Objectives.
· Ensure alignment of QA automation strategies with business objectives.
· Drive the development of scalable and efficient automated testing environments.
Process Improvement:
· Implement agile processes across the team, Including SCRUM, Continuous Build and Integration, etc.
· Encourage continuous improvement of process while ensuring adherence to agreed-upon standards.
Performance Management:
· Set individual and team objectives, evaluate and manage performance, and create professional development.
· Lead critical problem resolution efforts and high-level decision making.
Team Leadership:
· Oversee multiple QA teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
· Recruit, Onboard, and develop staff to enhance the capabilities of the QA teams.
Industry Expertise:
· Monitor industry trends and integrate best practices into the QA process.
· Advocate for QA automation across all stages of software development.
Qualifications:
· Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree)
· 8+ years of QA experience in a data organization.
· Proven and demonstratable ability to deliver on time and with high quality.
· Proven ability to manage a large team that includes other managers and/or leads.
· Strong experience in QA activities throughout all stages of the SDLC.
· Strong experience with a wide range of QA methodologies.
· Strong experience leading test plan development.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong knowledge of financial concepts.
