- Prepare contracts and documents - Prepare tender and contract documents in accordance to the building and construction regulations;
- Providing an estimate for material costs - As a quantity surveyor you will be responsible for helping to estimate costs, quantities, and project timelines and providing this information to clients;
- Negotiate contracts and work schedules - Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation;
- Prepare and analyze costings for tenders - Allocate work to subcontractors, provide advice on contractual claims;
- Evaluate and process vendors claims - Source, negotiate and award of contracts to vendors; Responsible for material order processing and cost control;
- Analysing construction blueprint - Quantity surveyors estimate costs and manage budgets for building and construction projects
