Job Description
- To execute projects well from its planning to completion
- Candidates for senior roles are to guide a team of junior engineers in the design, execution and completion of projects
- Planning, design of mechanical & electrical services in buildings and infrastructural developments (substation, power, lighting, security system, data cabling, public address system, air-conditioning, ventilation, fire protection, plumbing, sanitary, gas, vertical transportation, etc)
- To liaise with Singapore authorities, clients, consultants, contractors
- Project Management from pre-development through to completion.
- Cost planning, life-cycle costing, evaluation of payment and variation orders for clients and quantities surveyors
- Attend and lead project meetings, site meeting, inspections, etc
Requirements
- A recognized Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 6-8 years’ hands-on experience in design in an engineering consultancy firm.
- Experience in handling full cycle of building service projects and proven track record with strong background in Mechanical design.
- Good understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and Authority submission process
- Confident and have strong presentation & communication skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Strong design skill in Revit/BIM & AutoCad is an added advantage
