Responsibilities:
- The Senior Engineer is responsible for, but not limited to, the following related to mechanical & electrical design - Engineering Management Service for Group Company’s Design Department
- Provide design management service for Design & Build Projects to design departments of group companies.
- Review RFP documents/drawings for Bid and assist the Manager in setting up the strategy.
- Attend Design Review Meetings with the Group Company’s Design Departments and give appropriate advice.
- Review design documents/drawings/calculation-sheet/MEP-simulation-model from the Mechanical & Electrical viewpoint, check the design and quality and give feedback.
- Assist Manager in establishing Mechanical & Electrical Design Standards of APRHQ Building Design Department and help group company’s design department to localize.
- In APRHQ Design Standards should include, but not be limited to, Design Specifications, Coding Rules, and document rules.
- Make periodical progress reports to the Manager about the implementation of establishment and localization.
- Support other departments of APRHQ to establish CSI format coding/estimation related to design specifications/drawings.
Minimum Qualifications / Job Experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- A Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering will be an advantage.
- At least 3 years of Mechanical / Electrical design experience in building construction projects, and experience for at least two (2) large-scale construction projects.
- Factory construction or design experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence various stakeholders and build long-term relationships.
- Ability to lead Group Company engineers and provide proactive assistance to them all.
- Strong technical knowledge of current construction technologies.
- Strong Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical details, working drawings, and construction practices
- Knowledge of local and international regulations and engineering standards
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Office 365, Box, Teams, and REVIT with an understanding of SharePoint Online.
- Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks/ projects at one time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. It is more preferred if there is Chinese language skill as well.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex issues quickly and provide countermeasures to settle the issues
- Able to translate business requirements into technical design for development.
- Ability to check combined services drawings and coordinate problems with other trades
- Able to work overtime when required.
