Job Overview:

As a Business Development Manager specializing in baby food products, your primary responsibility is to drive the growth and market presence of our baby food product line. You will play a key role in developing and executing strategic plans to expand our market share, build strong partnerships, and achieve revenue targets.

As a Business Development Manager specializing in baby food products, your primary responsibility is to drive the growth and market presence of our client's product line. You will play a key role in developing and executing strategic plans to expand their market share, build strong partnerships, and achieve revenue targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in the baby food segment.
  • Analyse consumer preferences and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective business strategies to achieve sales and revenue goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships to enhance the baby food product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to create innovative and nutritionally sound baby food products.
  • Ensure product offerings align with regulatory standards and customer expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to expand the distribution network and increase product visibility.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling brand messaging and promotional campaigns.
  • Implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer loyalty.
  • Engage with key clients and customers to understand their needs and feedback.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain a positive brand image.
  • Develop and manage budgets related to business development and sales activities.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against set targets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience with a min of 3 years’ in business development within the food or consumer goods industry, with a focus on baby products preferred in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer behaviour in the baby food sector in the Singapore industry.
  • Excellent management, communication, negotiation, presentation skills and strong market acumen.
  • Proven ability to drive sales process from plan to close.

  • Revenue growth in the baby food product category.
