We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Night Shift Cleaning Services Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the cleaning operations during the night shift, ensuring that all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff during the night shift to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and according to schedule.
- Inspect designated areas to ensure cleanliness meets company standards and regulations.
- Train new cleaning staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of equipment and materials.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Conduct performance evaluations of cleaning staff and provide feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Handle any issues or complaints from clients or staff members in a professional and timely manner.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including attendance, work orders, and cleaning schedules.
- Collaborate with other department supervisors and management to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cleaning and sanitation techniques.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the cleaning industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification; additional certification in cleaning or facilities management is a plus.
