As an Technical Recruiter for the APAC region your role will involve technical recruitment for projects as well as managed services within Singapore, Malaysia and India.
The role requires (but isn't limited to):
- Actively source and recruit candidates for positions across Asian regions through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and industry-specific platforms
- Use different channels to identify candidates based on the provided requirements
- Meet internal company SLAs and guidelines for sourcing and on-boarding
- Ensuring candidates and hiring managers experience a superlative recruitment experience
- Networking, building and maintaining relationships with candidates, business partners and hiring managers
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness when interacting with candidates from diverse backgrounds across Asia
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience, considering language preferences and regional communication styles
- Regular reporting to hiring managers on market trends, salary information, competitor analyses etc
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment metrics specific to Asian markets
Requisites:
- 1-3 years of technical recruitment experience preferably serving clients or companies in Southeast Asia region (Singapore and Malaysia predominantly)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and perform well under tight time constraints and changing deadlines
- Solid know-how about technology recruitment channels and sources in the APAC region
- Not hesitant to cold-call
- Demonstrable experience in technical sourcing (Boolean, x-ray searches) and a knack for identifying high calibre talent
- Hands-on knowledge of sourcing and attracting high-calibre technology professionals
- Strong knowledge and passion for technology, high level of comfort with all types of online applications, and experience with applicant tracking systems preferred
- Attention to detail is important along with the ability to work on multiple requisitions and projects at one time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with diverse Southeast Asian candidates and teams
- Ability to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and regional relevance effectively
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations in various Asian countries specifically Singapore and Malaysia
