The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain.
The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 120,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.
Overview
You will work as part of a team that is primarily responsible for the Application Development & delivery of JAVA/J2EE based applications in NETS.
You would focus on building the rich frontend and / or the scalable backend based on JAVA/J2EE & other integration frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code and test to agreed technical specifications and ensures appropriates quality standards in line with the organization’s policies are applied.
- Translate design concepts, prototypes into responsive user-friendly GUI (Graphical User Interface).
- Assist with requirements gathering, analysis and development of functional and technical specifications to meet the business requirements using Object Oriented, Use-Case and UML-document based approach.
- Assist in user training, user acceptance testing and provide application support before and after implement.
- Debugging complex application problems and produce quality software documentation, including design specifications, SIT Test Plan and deployment documents.
- Coordinate with other internal technology teams such as Software Quality team, Infra-server, Infra-DBA and deployment & support teams to deploy new products into UAT and production smoothly.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating or researching alternative/new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field and at least 5 years of relevant work experiences.
- Strong Experience in Enterprise software and web application development using J2EE & Spring frameworks such as Spring MVC & Boot, Hibernate and JMS using Solace, JSON message format and RESTful API’s, Core Java 8 or above and Multi-Threading/Concurrent Programming, Cryptography & HSM’s.
- Have front end experience with Modern JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML Responsive design and one of JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.js.
- Good understanding & working on authorization framework such as Oauth2.0 and JWT authentication.
- Excellent understanding and domain knowledge in Internet Payment Gateway, Credit/Debit Card Payment processing, Wallet payments, 3DS 2.0 Authentication flows, ISO 8583 Message formats, PCI DSS Security standards & PDPA Compliance.
