Reporting to Nurse Educator, the Clinical Instructor is responsible for planning, coordinating, directing and evaluating programmes for the education of nurses and nursing students according to their learning needs and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- To plan, coordinate and provide clinical guidance and supervision to nurses and nursing students.
- Assist to conduct clinical training and competency assessment for nurses to ensure nursing standards are met and maintained.
- Assist to develop new training program to meet the current trend and professional practices.
- To participate in clinical quality improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse Practicing Certificate, recognised by Singapore Nursing Board
- Bachelor’s Degree in health-related subject or equivalent
- Post-basic certification and/or Advance Diploma in Nursing of specialized discipline
- Possess valid BCLS and AED Certification or BCLS and AED Instructor certification
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience as a Clinical Instructor
- A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office application
