Purpose of Job / Job Summary
- Assist immediate superior in delegating work to subordinates, coordination of work with sub-contractors and monitor works for compliance with required specification standards.
- To assist immediate superior to facilitate technical submission to client-consultant for approval and initiate site coordination & inspection with client/consultant/main-contractor.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Monitor actual progress of every sub-contractor’s works against the schedule
- Prepare progress reports
- Close coordination with supervisor, surveyors, foreman and sub-contractors to ensure compliance to works specifications.
- Initiate Design Change Control and Technical Query
- Assist in preparing and updating report and progress of works against the scheduled programme for the project.
- Prepare method statements and construction sequence for a given task.
- Assist Project/Construction Manager in preparing work programme
- Prepare technical submissions to Consultants, Clients and Authorities.
- Assist Project Manager on document control according to company SOP.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.
