My client is the leading distrubtor of spare parts for diesel engine in Asia.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in determining the company's sales plan and strategy and conduct market intelligence and research
- Identify and expand target customer segments and industries
- Develop pricing and business models based on client needs and prepare and submit proposals to clients
- Handle and overcome objections raised by clients, and respond and follow up on client inquiries and requests
- Collate and submit sales reports and analysis
- Understand the intricacies of engine components and be capable of explaining technical details to clients
- Prepare detailed and compelling proposals
- promote and expand the maintenance, repair, and overhaul solutions.
- Organize and present performance to clients and/or management
skills & experience required
You are welcome to apply if you meet the following requirements
- Degree / Diploma in engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of business development experience within the maritime industry, with a focus on field and workshop services for marine diesel engines
- Strong technical understanding of 4-stroke diesel engines will be a plus
- Able to travel around APAC for work assignment (about 30-40%)
- Good track records in terms of sales individual contribution
