Investment Research Analyst

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Investment Research Analyst to join the single family office based in Singapore. As an Investment Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assisting with investment decision-making by conducting thorough market research, financial analysis, and due diligence. You need provide comprehensive investment recommendations and contribute to the achievement of the family office's financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on potential investment opportunities across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity, and alternative investments.
  • Evaluate and analyse financial statements, company performance, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors to identify investment prospects and risks.
  • Prepare detailed investment reports, investment memos, and presentations to present findings and recommendations to senior management and investment committees.
  • Monitor and track existing investments, including performance analysis and regular updates on market conditions, industry dynamics, and regulatory changes.
  • Assist in portfolio management activities, including asset allocation, risk assessment, and performance evaluation.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in investment research and analysis.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or CFA qualifications.
  • Must be able to work legally in Singapore.
  • Strong financial analysis skills with a deep understanding of investment valuation techniques, financial modelling, and quantitative analysis.
  • Proficiency in utilizing financial databases, research tools, and software (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, Excel, PowerPoint) to gather and analyse investment data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare comprehensive investment reports and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic to uphold confidentiality and high ethical standards in handling sensitive financial information.
