Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to support our product development team in the aviation industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in sourcing tools and chemicals essential for our operations. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain management within the dynamic aviation sector.
Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing and Procurement:
Assist in identifying potential suppliers for tools,equipments and chemicals required for product development.
Conduct market research to evaluate product options, quality, and pricing.
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms and conditions.
2. Order Management:
Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Track and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess stock.
Communicate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to orders.
3. Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities.
Generate reports on procurement metrics and key performance indicators.
4. Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, to understand their tool,equipments and chemical requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize the supply chain process.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced aviation industry environment.
