PURPOSE
Act as an account manager managing the financial advisory (FA) distribution channels.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for business development with FA partners to support FWD’s growth strategy for both top line and bottom line
- Drives the required sales behaviour in line with FWD’s business requirements by promoting FWD’s products and services to new and existing partners
- Build a sustainable long-term relationship with core FA partners
- Generate business development opportunities and account management activities with Financial Advisers
- Participate in product development cycle to ensure that the product specifications meet the needs of the targeted customer segments
- Provide market feedback on market trends including but not limited to product features and marketing activities of competitors, etc
- Work closely with marketing team to ensure products and services are in the forefront of the market
- Partner with operations team to ensure seamless operational processes and ensure excellent customer experience
- Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements, when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- More than 5 years of direct experience managing a FA channel with an insurer
- Have existing relationships with FAs in the market
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY
- Good understanding of life products and trends that are key within the FA channels
- Ability to influence key internal stakeholders to deliver a winning products and services proposition
- Ability to provide recommendations based on customer needs and market trends
- Highly independent and motivated
- Customer centric with strong communication skills
