The role:
Your primary accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare monthly accounts, journal entries and reconciliations for accounts, cash, payables, bank, inter-company, fixed assets and others.
- Responsible for performing balance sheet, revenue and expense, as well as executing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- In charge of monthly and annual financial statements preparation and closure.
- Assist with compliance and regulations in areas including corporate tax, XBRL, GST and others.
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, tax and government authorities where necessary.
- Ensuring adherence to statutory and company accounting or finance policies and procedures.
- Submission of government financial statistical survey/data.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support inter-company activities.
- Support company treasury management, budgeting and financing activities.
Requirements:
- Hold at least a diploma in accounting/business administration or related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin in order to liaise with China counterpart, as well as Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat and other office software.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, organized, resourceful and good problem-solving abilities.
- Able to coordinate and communicate with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic atmosphere and comfortable working in a startup company.
